Free Cancellation (when offered)
Some institutions provide Free Cancellation up to a defined number of days before the course start date. When available, you'll see FREE CANCELLATION on the program page, including the exact deadline (e.g., "Full refund up to 28 days before start").
What's Refundable vs. Not
$10 Bid Fee
One bid = $10 USD. This fee keeps bids serious and is non-refundable.
10% Deposit (Escrow) — paid after an offer is accepted
The deposit secures your choice, unlocks the school's identity, and opens direct chat with both the school and BidandStudy. It is held in escrow by BidandStudy as part of your total payment.
✅ Deposit IS refundable when:
- • Institution withdraws the accepted offer
- • Cannot honor agreed terms (price, dates, inclusions)
- • Program page explicitly lists "Visa refusal refund" and you provide official proof within stated deadline
- • Any other school-specific refundable scenario explicitly shown on program page
❌ Deposit is NOT refundable when:
- • You choose not to proceed
- • You miss the offer validity deadline
- • You don't complete necessary steps (documents, payments to school)
- • Program page doesn't include visa refusal or free cancellation coverage matching your situation
- • You provided incorrect or misleading information affecting eligibility
Tuition & Accommodation Payments
Any amounts paid directly to the school are governed by the school's own policies. BidandStudy does not hold these funds. Consult the institution's terms for tuition/accommodation refunds.
How to Request a Refund
Submit your refund request through the messaging area, addressed directly to BidandStudy.
We aim to review and respond within 7 business days.
Where to See Your Terms
Specific cancellation and refund terms are revealed after you pay the deposit and gain access to the school's full profile. Each accepted offer will show the valid-until deadline set by the institution.
Pay the 10% deposit before this deadline to secure the offer and unlock detailed terms including cancellation policies, visa refusal protections, and processing timelines.
