Educator Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation as an Institution on BidandStudy. By creating an account, publishing a catalog, or responding to Student bids, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You represent and warrant that you are an authorized representative of your Institution and have authority to bind the Institution to these Terms.

2. Marketplace Basics

Student Bids: Students submit bids for language courses (tuition only, or tuition + accommodation). If accommodation is included, Students may indicate preferred types and weekly/monthly basis.

Your Response: For each bid targeted to you, you may Accept, Decline, or send one Counteroffer.

Identity Hidden: Student and Institution identities remain hidden until the Student confirms by paying the required 10% deposit.

No Off-Platform Contact: You may not share or request contact information (emails, phone numbers, links, @handles) or request payment outside BidandStudy until after the deposit is paid and messaging is unlocked.

Accommodation Offers: If a bid includes accommodation, your Accept/Counter must clearly state the accommodation type(s) and price(s). If you cannot meet the request, you must Decline.

Catalog Standards: Content you publish (course details, images, descriptions) must be accurate, updated, and free of personally identifiable information.

3. Deposits and Messaging

Deposit Requirement: A Student's identity and messaging channel are revealed only after the Student pays the 10% deposit into BidandStudy's secure escrow system.

Escrow Handling: The deposit is deductible from the program price and will be released according to the platform's rules.

No Direct Requests: Institutions may not request or accept payments outside the Platform for deposits or course fees prior to deposit confirmation.

4. Compliance and Moderation

We reserve the right to review bids, catalogs, and communications to ensure compliance.

Content that violates these Terms (including contact details shared before deposit, misleading pricing, or discriminatory practices) may result in removal, suspension, or termination of your account.

You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to international students, consumer protections, and truthful advertising.

5. Privacy

All data processing follows our Privacy Policy. You agree to handle any Student information obtained through BidandStudy with confidentiality and solely for enrollment-related purposes.

6. Reliability and Professionalism

• Respond to bids within the stated Expiration Times.
• Honor all accepted offers and counteroffers once a Student confirms with a deposit.
• Ensure that accommodation and course services offered match the descriptions in your catalog and responses.

7. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of BidandStudy after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
